So I know I've been MIA for about a month :(. So here's an update. I braided my youngest daughters hair for her 12th birthday since her BC this January. It grew out quite a bit. I also retouch the front braids of my oldest daughters hair. A couple of weeks ago I went to my local Hair Supply store and me and who I thought was the owner was chopping it up for an hour lol, we would have been still talking if a customer didn't come in. Oh my! I think I forgot her name...ummm I think its Lupe. Those who knows me well knows Q doesn't like bad customer service. I give this lady two thumbs up, 5 stars and a praise for helping her customers by providing the upmost respect, info and follow up on products. I gave her some insight on being a natural addition to what she was learning from other customers. My regimen and products that works good for me and ones I would eventually try out. Here's some samples she gave me in exchange for reviews☺.  So I washed and conditioned my na...

I Rocked My Afro Puff

Image
Trying to get ready for my bbf I had to shampoo my hair and from my previous blog stories I didn't want to do them and I didn't have the time for the one hour hair twist. So I did something that knew I was going to dred later on, but because of the third hair type in my head...4c I was left to blowdry my natural. I didn't want to put the heat too it so what I did was put it on a low setting to try it out and during the process I felt it too be cool, easy than I thought to pik through with the attachment. By the way I shampooed my natural with the HASK that is in the previous blog with pictures...I did not condition this time around because of my time allotment. The style I rocked was a afro puff So my bestfriend came over and its been solong since we've physically connected. I didn't get to take a picture of my "Rockin Afro Puff" after I did my blowout on ONLY COOL SETTING.

Via Natural Argan Oil

Image
March 20th, 2014 Thursday Yayyy! My shipment of Via Natural Argan Oil came today. March 13th, 2014 Used the last of my product and google this product because once its gone its gone from most bargain stores. My hair is more thick than the norm. I want to start using the Via Natural edge gel, not too many places sells it. Since my natural hair has been growing healthy and longer I want to create protective hair styles because I'm tired of twisting my hair. In May I will be wearing it down for my birthday. I happened to see these Argan Oil tubes for your hair by Via Natural which has natural ingredients and what stand out was argan oil that I frequently view on natural hair care Youtube videos. So why not give it a shot besides it was only a buck. I was surprised on how it felt on my natural hair, giving it immediate shine and it made my hair so soft giving it major slip. I only wish that I picked up more than just the two that I bought. I applied this natural oil after I was...

That abuse that we're no longer a victim of... you opened my eyes. You opened my eyes to alot. To alot of things. Good ones and Bad ones that my duaghters and sons. My daughters and sons had experienced. The things I once told myself I'm not going to allow that. That abuse 'that does not define us. Coping with my past....

Since the crime in March and June 2013 on me and my children, I've been having a hard time getting over the feeling of letting my children down and having them experience bad things that a child should be protected from. Looking for help via www. to help me cope with my past experience of childhood, young adulthood and marriage. Quote of today to live by day by day.  Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control:now Don't dwell on what went wrong.
